I am a huge advocate for using cruelty-free beauty products. Ulta has so many awesome products right now. Lately I’ve been ordering online from Sephora, but really haven’t gotten a lot of new makeup because I’ve been saving my money. However, yesterday I decided to go for it after having a grumpy day. I am so happy to say that these products were an instant mood lift. Each one is exactly everything I wanted it to be. The most amazing thing about all of these products is that they are cruelty-free, meaning that they were not tested on animals!
I’m late to the party here because I was pretty happy with my foundation routine when this beauty came out. I finally took the plunge and purchased this in the shade Snow. I’ve been in a bad relationship with my current foundation because it has been pulling really pink tones on me. It was time for a change!
One huge selling point of this foundation for me is that it is oil-free, and that it is infused with coconut water. The Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Primer also has coconut water in it too, and I am absolutely in love with that product, so I knew that I would likely love the texture of this foundation. Another exciting part about this foundation is that when I swatched it on my wrist, it really put the coverage moves on my tattoo. I quickly threw it in my bag and never looked back (seriously, I went to the checkout because I knew I would be in trouble if I stayed any longer).
Urban Decay Naked Skin
Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer
Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Concealer is my favorite concealer. Hands down. Though I always want to try others, I always find my way back to this beauty. The formula has such a lightweight consistency, yet it covers my under eye area so well. It really brightens and smooths as well.
The shade range of this line is also incredible. There are plenty of light shades, dark shades, and everything-in-between shades for everyone! Also, they’re not too pink, which is a huge issue I have with many concealers.
I usually purchase this in the shade Light Warm. Unfortunately, I grabbed Fair Neutral. I am going to give it a go anyway and see if I like this shade. As an avid consumer of this concealer, I’m confident it’ll do.
Essence mascaras are incredible, and they perform just as well, if not better, than high end mascaras. They hold a special place in my heart. I picked this one up in place of my all time favorite, I Heart Crazy Extreme Volume, because it was not in stock. I love the huge bristles on this brush. Any mascara that can give me xxxl crazy volume is a definite must have! The best part? You can pick this up for only $5!
I have been wanting this palette for a long time, but never went through the trouble of purchasing it online. Shaaanxo is definitely one of my favorite YouTubers because she’s so real, relatable, and has many versatile looks. I had to pick it up when I saw it in the store. This would be an awesome purchase for someone who is just starting out with palettes. It’s such a great deal since it has an eye shadow palette and a lip palette for $14.50! Altogether there are 18 shades in this beauty. I seriously can’t wait to play with the lip colors!
This liquid lipstick in the shade Tabitha is absolutely gorgeous. The color payoff is so rich and thick, but the formula doesn’t feel as dry as other liquid lipsticks do. It doesn’t crack after being on for a while either, which is one of my favorite things about it. Perhaps my favorite thing about this is its $9 price tag. I’m totally sold.
