I’ve been putting a lot of thought into how I can be a better consumer and example for others. I always want to be the best version of myself, and have been feeling like I’m not living up to that. It can be overwhelming wanting to save the world, realizing there’s endless work to do, and not knowing where to start. I sometimes feel like I can’t possibly be enough of a force to combat a small issue, but have to remember that every small action matters. Stephen and I do our best to recycle, eat plant-based, have eliminated a lot of waste in this last year by cutting out paper towels, and are more mindful of repurposing things.

I know there’s always room for improvement. We are never fully finished learning new things.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
