I’m Kayla, and I’m SO glad you’re here! I love vegan doughnuts, glitter, and anything magical. As of 2020, I am an east coast girl on my way to live out my dreams of writing in the west. I am from the beautiful mountains of Virginia, where I received my degree in English. I like to tell people this means that I have the right to make up my own words, but mostly it just means I’m a huge word nerd trying to find my writing’s place in the world.
I started this site as a way to channel my passion for writing and share all of my favorite things and offer inspiration to others. You’ll find me whipping up delicious vegan foods, sharing my honest experiences, and telling you about all of my favorite things.
I’m also a mom to the most beautiful golden-eyed kitty named Giddy, and am married to the love of my life, Stephen. I’m a huge Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, and I love potatoes (honestly, who doesn’t???)! Drop your coat and stay a while. 🖤
