Beauty Essentials: 5 Tarte Cosmetics Faves ✨

I’ll admit it, I’m a total sucker for cute packages in bright colors, so it should come as no surprise that Tarte Cosmetics is hands down one of my favorite brands in the beauty game right now. Their products are totally cruelty-free and mostly vegan friendly! Also, I think that it’s just one of those brands that makes people feel happy and whimsical. And, let’s face it, we could all use a little bit more magic in our lives.

I am lucky enough to own a decent amount of Tarte products, but for the purposes of this blog I’ve narrowed it down to my 5 favorites. These are items that have enhanced my beauty routine so much that I’m constantly recommending them to people, so I hope you love them too!

1. tarteist lash paint mascara

Hello beautiful magic lash wand of my dreams. The formula of this mascara and the bristles on the brush are seriously perfect. I never have to deal with clumping or flaking, and it makes my lashes look long and full of volume. I’m not a fan of falsies (gasp), so I’m pretty much always rocking this mascara. You are going to love it.

 

2. drink of H2O hydrating boost moisturizer

This moisturizer is a luxurious gel that sinks into the skin like a magical electrolyte cloud. My skin feels so quenched and bouncy after using this every day. I actually look forward to washing my face at night just so I can slather this all over it. It claims to use free radical fighting marine antioxidants, which I swear I can totally feel working to erase damage. If your skin ever feels thirsty, try giving it a boost with this beautiful formula.

3. shape tape contour concealer

Okay, so you probably saw this one coming, but there’s a reason that shape tape makes so many ‘best of’ lists. This formula is so buttery and blendable, covers everything, and still feels lightweight on your skin. It includes mango seed butter in the ingredients, so honestly I’m not surprised. Mangoes are delicious, so why wouldn’t their parts be good for your skin too? So light and bright. Trust me, you need this in your life.

4. tartelette Amazonian clay matte palette

This is my favorite eye shadow palette of all time. Tarte has a serious knack for creating buttery textures in their products, and this one is no exception. It has a beautiful range of shades, include a couple purpley browns and a gorgeous taupe color that I cannot get enough of.  If you’re looking for super blendable shadows with rich color payoff, this is your palette.

5. amazonian clay 12-hour highlighter

Prepare for your cheekbones to be seen by all because this tiny little compact packs a huge sparkling punch. I’ve had this one in the shade exposed for a while now, and find myself reaching for it almost daily. Also, a little goes a long way, so this compact will last a long time.

    Thanks for this list! I have heard so much about Tarte cosmetics, but I have never personally tried the brand. It was great to see your suggestions for when I finally take the leap!
